Weird headache for around 5 days...

First off, hi folks, good to be part of the community.

I really don't know what to do, and it's worrying me. For around five days I've had short periods of pain (maybe 1-3 seconds), located above the right eye, and recently mostly in the back right of the head, a bit above where the neck begins. I've also had it on the left side, above the eye as well as in the back, but at the moment it's mostly on the right side.

It doesn't get worse throughout the day, but remains constant. It doesn't wake me up at night.

Please help me guys, it's really worrying me.

Hi florian,

Have you tried to take anything for it yet?  If so how has your head reacted to it?  Have you had a history of neck problems?  A lot of people have had head pain in various places or migraines etc. because of vertabrae issues in the neck or spine.

Don't be scared hunn, I intervene on your behalf with prayer.  Your gonna be ok

no, I don't take any painkillers or medicine. My neck has been aching for the past two days as well, but not as much as my head, and mostly on the right side. I noticed that, when resting, like lying on a couch or sitting on a chair calmly, the pain "waves" are far less frequent than when I sit in front of the computer or just walk around.

I just want to be sure it's nothing absolutely serious, like a tumor or an inflammation or something.

hello again,

Well I do think you should see a doctor.  Maybe try to take tylonol or ib profen to see if that helps with the discomfort a little.

Hi again,

so I took some pain medicine and it seemed to help, but the next day everything was back to normal. I've been getting more frequent pain in the back of the neck too, and a little further down the spine. Also, when I move my jaws sideways, it clicks loudly. I've had this condition for a while, but it feels like it's gotten stronger over the past weeks.

Hi again,

The one thing we have in common is our tmj and the fact that it got worse when our head pain started..... weird.  I have constant pressure in my whole head tho.  Everything I take makes it worse.  It hit me hard at first, I thought I was having a stroke, and I'm only 29.  I'm super healthy otherwise.  Make an app. as soon as you can to see a neurologist.  Maybe you need an adjustment, a chiropractor can do that.  Maybe try some accupuncture.  Hopefully whatever is going on can be fixed by something like that.  I hope it's not something serious.
