That's a very good idea. I'm new to this forum so don't know my way around yet.
I agree that sites about depression and anxiety won't help. We need a place where people understand the pain and the neurological breakdowns.
I know for me just knowing someone else understands makes me feel better. It's funny that no matter how bad I'm feeling hearing other's stories always makes me feel like I don't have it so bad.
For me I get tired of people telling me I have so much to be thankful for and there are so many people worse off than I am. How ironic that it's always the people who don't live in chronic pain telling me it isn't so bad.
I think I finally got through to one of these people when I explained that after every disaster like a tornado or hurricane and people have lost everything they always say "We're just thankful we have our health and our family" Those are always the two things people put as the priority in their lives. So when you don't have your health and you don't have a family what are you left with?
Oh well, I guess we just take it one day at a time.
Good luck to you! I wish you many happy, healthy, pain-free days!
