Has anyone had experience of Sertraline for menstrual migraine?
My GP originally prescribed Amitryptiline for preventing menstrual migraine, but I couldn't function on the lowest dose as it made me so sleepy.
Now after another 4 day migraine, he has prescribed Sertraline 50mg daily, to try and prevent the next one.
I have to say the side effects are awful, and I have only taken one tablet! I have felt thoroughly sick all day, food tastes awful, have had a bit of dizziness and feeling tight in chest, trouble swallowing - possibly due to dry mouth and jaw clenching, which is giving me another headache. I have been yawning all day, which is also making my jaw ache! 
Is it worth persevering??? Does anyone know?
