Please help me

I am new to this fourum and illness. Here's my story. Up until 2.5 months ago I was a happy healthy mother of 2 stay at home mom. I awoke one morning with a excruciating headache. Took some meds but it failed. This headache stayed and after 2 weeks I went to the dr. Told the dr about the headache and not being able to sleep because of it. Was given vicadin and nasal spray with trazadone. Told allergies, lack of sleep causing it. No help so 2 weeks later went back and had shaking and the headache and feet/hand swelling. Told I was psychosomatic. Call hubby crying he took me to er cause shaking was so bad. Er did head ct bloodwork. Was given Valium and told to go home and rest. Ok that didn't work either. Went to new dr was tried on ambain, inderal, relpax, and now topamax. Bloodtest from er was abnormal now is fine. Help me find out why this has happened and so suddenly.

Right-this story is all too typical of how young women, mothers in particular are treated. Its all in your head, psychosomatic. Nonsense! There is obviously a clear cause here because it came out of the blue. See if you can get some massage therapy, but not directly on your neck. Take anti-inflammatories and apply ice/ cold packs. Sounds too simple to work? Not necessarily. The fact that you woke up with this issue suggests something more along the line of a pinched nerve. Try to hook up with a female doctor who does not buy into this "all in your head/ stress" nonsense. Get a proper diagnosis-just because your physicians have incorrectly diagnosed you does not mean you are crazy. Your shaking likely came from all the combination of potent medication you were prescribed.
