"Flash" migraines??

OK People, I need some help.   I can identify THREE clear situations lately where I get an incredibly horrific headache and am not able to relieve the symptoms with ibuprofin, excedrin, or even a light vicodin.  I need help figuring out what is going on....

We have had several parties at my home lately for the holidays.  I find that when the parties get to be loud and I have to shout over the noise for people to hear me....after about 25 mins or so I get this horrific migraine and cant get rid of it.   It has only happened three times and all with the same type of situation.   I went to my doctor and even had him do a CT scan to ensure there weren't any big tumors in my head causing these headaches....and there weren't any and I dont have a sinus infection either.  So, I have no clue what could be causing these and its causing me concern.

Has anyone had anything like this before and what was your diagnosis?  I make sure to drink plenty of water, use my Nasonex nose spray and take ibuprofin prior to the parties....yet, I still get these headaches....

Hi Mercyme If your therapist wants you to keep coming back maybe he she isn't the right one, ( money ) Iv found that if you don't get massaged before you go to a chiropractor you may at well just put your money in the bin. Also if you are dehydrated ( witch 98% of us are ) therapy will work it may work some but it works better when you are rehydrated (as a rule and depending where you live a man needs about 3 Lts a day Women need 2.2Lts a day this all depends on what fruit you are eating) What food you put in can cores most of your pain unless you have injured it. Google metabolic wast and see what you think.( see web pages below) By the sound of what you are saying about your pain its the shoulder that is the problem. You could cheek out my post about castor oil all the would have to do is rub it around the shoulder blade and neck this may help ( but please read the safety bit ) you also have to leave it on you as long as you can. Trigger point therapy is very close to Bowen therapy so either one is ok just make sure you are hydrated and you need to drink more water on treatment days before and after. Also remember a good healer is some one that isn't money hungry. ( Im no Dr ) I just lived with a lot of pain but just by doing some of the above my pain is a lot better now. So by eating good unprocessed foods and drinking good filtered water your body will love you for this.
