Headache/shooting pains

I've had this headache for the past 4 days, when I stand up, cough or even goto the bathroom.. I get these shooting pains in my brain.. nothing I've ever felt before. The pain I feel is hard to explain, it just hurts. Has anyone ever experienced this before, if so what do you reccomend I do??

Sounds like you have some inflammed muscles pressing against your nerves in certain ways gets worse..

Would you reccommend me goto the hospital for this, seeing as it could possibly be something else?

I get these alot, I have never had them as long as four days. They usually pass with time, But if you feel as if the pain is getting worse over the next day go to the doctor for some piece of mind.

I still have a headache today, it's been about 5-6days now.. but It's not as bad as it was the other day, however I can feel the headache coming back stronger.. haven't really had the shooting pains when I stand up tho.

Rachel1997 - Did you see a doctor about your headaches? If so, did they give you a diagnosis?

Well I went to the hospital lastnight, the doctor didn't do any tests on me. He just gave me two injections in my hip and gave me a perscription and sent me on my way.
