Hi everyone!
I have had migraines for years. I have been pregnant/nursing for the past ten years (I know. . . .but they are worth it!). Anyway, I am now in a place where I am finally able to try new medicines for my migraines!!! Hooray!!
My history was that I have had daily headaches that go from mild to debilitating attacks that send me to bed for days to back to mild, but never completely gone. I have tried various things, from extreme diet changes, chiropractic care, herbal remedies, prescription drugs--you name it, I've tried it. Except, I was limited in what prescriptions I could take because of my pregnancies.
So, now I am able to try new things and they are working! I am on Topamax and it has been life-changing for me!!! I know it does not work for everyone, but has ended my daily headaches and I now only have a few migraines a month.
I still don't have an answer for the few bad migraines I get each month. Unfortunately, Triptans do not work for me. My doctor gave me a prescription for Cambia to try.
Has anyone else here tried Cambia? I am hoping this may be the answer!
It would be so amazing if I had something that would actually work!
