Should i check with a doctor on how many migraines i have?

Ok so I'm a teenage girl and I get migraines all the time to where I miss school almost once a week at least. On a usual week I have 2 or 3 migraines that aren't terrible by still hurt like crap. I have imitrax but later after I feel better I get a headache/ mild migraine. My doctor said I may not be drinking enough water or that my diet may need to be better but I tried and I still get them. Please help I hate having them

Have your parents take you to a neurologist or a headache specialist. There are meds to settle Migraines down before they start up.

I agree with Mamma Lama. Imitrex may not work for you but there are so many other things to try. Missing that much school means this is a serious problem so please see a headache specializing neurologist.

Went to a doctor and ended up it was allegy induced migraines so now I have allergy medicine that I take every night. Thanks for all the help
