10 year old daughter with double vision and constant headache - migraine?

Could it be a migraine? She has had this permanent headache for 3 weeks with close up double vision. Far away vision is fine. She wakes up with the headache.

Paracetamol and ibuprofen don't give her any relief after. We have had CT scan and all clear. Optomotrist can see that she can't focus close up and that's giving her the double vision but she doesn't know why this would suddenly happen.

Bloods and urine came back fine.

We have an appointment with the opthamologist at the hospital tomorrow but I'm so worried. The headaches are at the front of her head around her forehead and eyes.

Can a migraine give you close up double vision? She can't read a book because its blurry and double but she can read the eye charts perfectly as they are farther away.

No she had no needles since she was about 5 years old. We have now had lumbar puncture, MRI and Ct scans and all were clear. She still has the headache and neurologist thinks they are migraine related. She is on periactin but so far the headaches are still there. We went from 1 tablet a day to now 2. One at night and 1 in the morning. Does this medication take time to build up or should it get rid of the headache immediately because although she says the pain has dropped from a 7/8 to a 3-5 it's still there. The hospital made her give the pain a number.
