Hi there all! New subscriber here, though like many, not new to headaches. I've had one every day since 2006. It's not just one type, I have 2 or 3 different types of headaches that occur, migraine a few days a week, a squeezing pressure all the time, and one that throbs like hell from the occipital area that flares up about
once or twice a week.
I've learned what causes flares in my pressure headache that will almost certainly trigger a migraine. Chewing food is one, laying on any part of my head for any time is another. The one I'm struggling with most though is if I do anything to elevate my breathing/heart rate/bending over. Because of my head, I've been pretty sedentary the last 7 years and have gained a fair amount of weight. For many reasons, not just lack of exercise. I'm fighting depression, the "poor me", guilt for not being able to much around the house, poor eating habits.
I'm looking to see if others have the same sensitivity to activity. If so, has anyone found a way to start to get some cardiovascular exercise without it being a death sentence? I've tried walking, yoga and light weightlifting on several occasions.
Thanks in advance!
