Grey Spots in Vision when Migraine Occurs

Hey.
My daughter gets grey spots in front of her vision, then she gets an awful migraine, and the grey spot carries on (Only in one eye though). After about an hour, she is sick. Then the spot disappears. During this 1 hour period, she is very sensitive to light, sound, and change in temperatures, she doesn't like the coolness of a flannel on her. Also, she is very weak and sleeps a lot. Do you know what this is, if so, please help!

Unfortunately visual symptoms are very common with migraines. My wife even has had migraines without the pain. She had most of the other symptoms including bad visual impairment.

There are migraine rescue drugs that she may be able to take as soon as the visual effects are noticed that may help her avoid getting to the full blown migraines.

Should also see if there's a trigger that leads to the beginning of the event, migraines are usually triggered by something.

I'd talk to the doc about the right treatment for her.

She usually gets them from being over tired.
I was reading somewhere that it could be a brain tuma!??!
Any thoughts?
