I was having severe headaches every morning, it wakes me up and I couldn't figure out why. At first I thought I had a cold, cause it comes with runny nose. So I took medication, the headache didn't go way. Then it got worse, the sinus seemed to be causing the headache, my eyes seemed to be getting worse, can't see very well. In fact, it felt like a migraine, but if I moved my head to the left side while sleeping, it seemed to go away. I went to the doctor and she said that it sounds like a migraine, but I told her that I'm very familiar with migraines, I suspect that it's not a migraine, it could be a tumor. So I went and got a CT scan and yes, I had a 2.5 cm tumor in my pituitary gland. Always trust your instinct. Anyways, I was very calm about the news, by the way, this calmness derives from years of mindfulness meditation. The next day after the brain surgery, I continued to meditate, the post-surgery headaches were under control, internal healing continued to take place, I was already walking and jogging after the 1st week of surgery. My mind was at peace, I was feeling confident and very grateful for my brain surgeon who also contributed to the success of my surgery. If you feel that you need to strengthen your mind and eliminate anxiety, please find a good guided meditation to listen to. I can also recommend this one. It worked for me. http://db.tt/P6F8GYni
