I sincerely suggest that you consider mindfulness meditation, I myself have been practising mindfulness meditation to initiate self-healing, it calmed my mind, my anxiety before my brain surgery. It helped me changed my perspective to post-surgery pain, I was able to ignore it instantly. I am in constant bliss, when I meditate, I am able to see the big picture, pain becomes a nonissue.
