My migraines have decided to migrate from right to left. The pains about the same, but I've noticed the auras are different.
On the right side I get a lot of vision symptoms, but on the left I don't. But on the left I seem to get a lot more irritable, and far more sensitive to sound.

Does anyone else find their aura changes based on the side of the pain?

Did you suggest your doctor do a CT scan for you? I didn't take no for an answer from my doctor, I demanded a CT scan and then an MRI. And my instinct that I have a tumor was very accurate. I had headaches that feels like migraine, cause I say auras too. My sinus was giving me trouble, and my eyesight was deteriorating. I only got the headaches when I was lying down, the pain subsides when I get up, not pressing against my skull. Good luck!

I've had all the tests done, it's defiantly migraines.

I asked my doctor about having different auras depending on what side the pains on, and he looked confused and told me to come back after he's had a chance to do some reading, lol.

Sometimes migraines come from stress that you may not even be aware of. So you might want to try practising mindfulness meditation to relieve some of the stresses in your life. I have been meditating for a number of years, and it doesn't take up too much of your time. If you can just quiet your mind every night just before bedtime, and focus on the present moment, focus on that migraine for awhile, rating the intensity of that pain, from 0 to 10, 10 being most severe. Then accepting it by saying yourself, even though I have this terrible migraine everyday, I still love and accept myself and my body. Repeating this phrase 3 times. Now you visualize with your eyes closed that this energy of pain moves out of your head and see it floating away from you. Make sure you remember to do deep breathing at the same time, breathing in positive healing energy from your nose, and exhaling negative energy out your mouth. Even breathing slow and deep will alleviate pain. But the visualization part is just as important, whether you believe it works or not it doesn't matter, the fact is that you are calming your nerves when doing so, when you are mentally calm, you will let go of all your worries, and when you're in that tranquil state, all the pain in your body will not matter anymore, because you will experience all levels of your multidimensional self on all levels far greater than your body or your brain. VisualMind, I am under a significant amount of stress at the moment.
I'm having an ovary out next Monday because they found pre-cancerous cells in a cyst that was removed around 6 weeks ago. I got the call from the doctor the week after my last surgery, so I've had a fair bit of freaking out for the last 5 weeks.

I have noticed my anxiety peaks with migraines (not sure which sets which off. I think it's a catch 22 where they effect each other) so maybe that's behind the different aura symptoms.
