Headache for first time

Hello,8 weeks ago had had a real bad case of the mumps which led to me losing 18lbs in 10 days,I feel great but about 4 weeks ago I had my first ever headache and started to read on the net and read alsorts of things about brain tumours and he got me panicking,can anybody suggest what it might be,it comes most of the time above my right ear but sometimes across the front of my head and sometimes I also have stiff muscles in my neck with it,once I start thinking about it I can't stop,I don't drink or smoke,any suggestions

Ditch diet drinks, avoid aspartame/phenylalanine - a chemical loosely labeled as an artificial sweetener - like the plague. It's bad for you. Google it, maybe that's what your friend was referring to. Also, this chemical is in 6000 food items and drinks now, diet drinks, crystal light, light yogurt, if a product's label says light or sugar free, at the very least read the label and make sure this chemical is not in it. Better yet, skip all light, fat free and sugar free products. Eat foods with minimal processing, avoid junk food, stick to water, fresh produce, broiled or grilled fish and meat. Caffeine in excess can give you headaches.

The headache just feels like pressure,but when I when to the walkin centre he looked into my eyes and said there was nothing unusual to see

Probably a fluke. Thought of one more item - 5 hour energy drinks (and probably the like) have aspartame in them. Avoid.
