New to headaches looking for suggestions

Hi all and thanks for reading. I'm. 35 male in decent shape and just after Xmas I got a bad head cold. Fever,and mucus to no end. Then came the headache of all headaches which scared me as I have never had them before so I went to the walkin and was told I had a sinus infection and to take antibiotics. So the head cold goes away but the headache has persisted And seems immune to Tylenol(can't take Advil as allergic) so I have been to my gp went and had a ct done and nothing unusual shows up and as this headache is around now I'm getting numb in the cheeks... To be honest I'm at a loss and afraid. I think my gp thinks I'm crazy. It's been 30 some days of mild pressure to full. Maybe someone out there has had the same and can offer advice that would be appriciated. Sorry for the long post.

I have had headaches of different types all my life. The headache you are describing sounds as if it could be coming from your sinus area. Have you ever taken a pill intended for sinus congestion to see if it reduced your head pain? Something like sudafed? I would consider making an appointment with an ear nose and throat doctor. Or maybe a headache specialist.
