Hi,A little background 1st.
I have had migraines since i was a teen, I am now 41. about 4 months ago I started getting a pain over my right eye when I abruptly moved. It would only last seconds and then be gone.
I went to my primary doc and he thought it was sinus but treatment for that did not clear up the pain. So then he sent me to a eye doc and they found nothing.
Next up was a visit to a neurologist and he thought it was all migraine related. He scheduled me for an mri just to check.
Later in the week he called me at night and told me that the mri looked suspicious and wanted me to see a brain surgeon. I was taken back..He said it looked like there might be fluid on the brain.
So I went to the brain surgeon and he said my mri looked normal except for my frontal lobes are smaller then usual but he said thats was just me, ya know like some people have big noses. He told me there was no reason for me to come back. He did not see no tumors or anything else.
Still with me??
I then had a follow up with my neurologist. He put me on effexor and wanted to get another mri in 6 weeks to see if anything has changed. He said if it stays the same thats ok, if it changes then we talk...
So, I left the brain surgeon feeling good, that it wasnt anything to worry about but now I am worried again because of what my neurologist says.
the pain is over my right eye and I feel it when I move my head abruptly, or if i jump etc. I also feel it when I lay down and roll over in bed.
Anyone else ever had something like this? I have searched the web for days and I can not find anything. Brain tumors come up but both said I didnt have one. I am worried.
Thanks for reading this long post.
