Hi Nicky, as with you, I'm learning how to live with migraines. Being VERY thankful for migraine-free days, however few they are. Hoping for a miracle that will take them away more often.
I am pleased with the effects of Migralief and wondering if that is helping me any more than the Topamax, since my increase in days without migraines coincides with both the 90days since I started the Migralief and about a month since I increased the Topamax. But 12 days free of migraine in 4 or 5 weeks was really nice! I keep careful records and had lots of smile faces to show my doctor There were only 3 happy faces at my previous visit.
Although I still have frequent migraines, Nicky, and other readers, the majority of my headaches are milder and easier to cope with.
I REALLY recommend that EVERYONE** should try the dietary supplement Migrahealth/Migralief. It is recommended by many doctors who treat migraines. It contains Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) 200mg [yes, that's a lot!] Magnesium, and Feverfew. Take it twice a day. It takes about 90 days to get the full effect of this supplement. You continue to take it twice a day after that. It is highly effective! The only problem is that some people give up before that 90 days is up. Don't give up. Keep taking it.
**But you should ask your doctor(s) first. People who are taking medicines, in addition to those prescribed by their migraine doctor, should be especially careful to discuss taking this medicine with any other doctor who treats them, as well.
(I am not selling this stuff. You can buy it at Wal Mart and some independent pharmacies that you might find in large medical buildings.)

P.S. Nicky, I should probably have put this somewhere else, huh?
