Anyone else on this? I used to take 50mg but now got bumped up because a few migraines were not knocked out with the 50.

Also, I have asked the Dr. but did not get a straight answer.

How come they limit you to 9 of these pills per month? are they bad for you or something?

In the new year I am going to try and see a holistic person about my migraines. I am pretty sure they are coming from chocolate and vinegar. These seem to be my 2 main foods right before a bad one.

In the resource section at the top of our forum you will find a link to the migraine diet. Very helpful.

A lot of migraine PRN meds are restricted due to kidney effects, and your body becoming use to the med and it have less effect.

Ask your pharmacist for clarification, some docs just are so afraid of malpractice.

When I was on sumatriptain, I was only taking 25mg. I was also limited to only having 9 pills at a time. The doctor told me that they were pretty dangerous pills and to be careful with how much I took and how often. They didn't relieve my pain though, only gave me horrible side effects so I stopped taking them. Hope they are working out for you and be careful with them!
