So since the week of Thanksgiving I have been having some strange head pressures. At first it started as a headache while I was at work with a small dull pain on one side of my head. The next day it was still around and got worse to the point I couldn't move without feeling ill. As it progressed my eyes started to hurt, my neck got stiff/ sore and the front of my face had pressure around the nose. I went to my family doctor and they said it was migraines. They gave me sumatriptan and told me to take that. Well it didn't work to we'll and ended up going to the ER because it got worse. I had a CT scan done and some blood work all which came back normal. The doctor said migraines and gave me something called butalbital acetaminophen. After taking that for a few days the headaches decreased to the point I could function and move around without feeling sick. Since then I haven't had the same headaches but something different now. The symptoms are pressure in the middle of my head that are triggered when I get up from sitting for awhile, bending down, and more importantly when laying my head down. The pressure feels like a squeezing sensation that throbs to the point I hear it I my ears. When this happens I get some kind of pressure around my eyes that it hurts to look around and they feel like that could pop. After awhile it just stops but comes back at different points during the day. The back of my head also has a dull/some what sharp pain on the left right that hurts when I press it but it's only on one side. At first I thought it was an issue with my eyes so I had that check and everything was normal. Even now I'm still getting the random pressure. What could this be?
