The cause of my migrane?

What medical diagnois should I take for finding out what is causing my migrane-or is it a "hit or miss" for finding out what causes migranes?

The last 3 weeks there are days when my headaches are so strong, I have to sleep to escape the pain. In my job, I do use my eyes a lot and I have been working up gto 12 hours a day.Six years ago I was in a motorcycle accident and hit the side of my head... I never had migranes from it but I am wondering if this could be the cause. Sometimes the migrane is behind my eyes and always on the same side of my head where my bumped my head in the accident.

My doctor just tells me to take a rest and don't try to use my eyes as much. I want to go further with some kind of X-ray but need some guidance from people that have gone through this. yeah thanks,

My headaches are 99.9% of the time behind my eyes.
I haven't yet been able to figure out why this is.
I have had my eyes checked in an effort to see if it is because of eye strain.
I do not have perfect vision, but its not bad enough that I need glasses.
I do have glasses but i NEVER wear them because, you guessed it, the minute I put those glasses on I get the worst headache EVER.
I am talking BAD.
I have heard that the headache comes initially because of not being used to wearing them.
Perhaps if I were to hang in there and wear them for a few days straight the headache would go away and I would actually find my headaches diminished.
But i just can't find it in myself to give it a try.
Headaches are my curse in life.
Have you had your eyes checked out?

are you sure what you have are migraines? What other symptoms do you have? maybe you should have a second opinion. Margie
