I’m at witts end. I’ve been getting migraines more and more lately and they’ve been getting increasingly worse. I have a specialist I see and I track my headaches with both frequency and severity.
Im currently on Topomax and the Ajovy once monthly. I also take Rizatriptian or Eletriptian- whichever I think will work more effectively at the time of the headache for a troubleshooting medication. I’ve been dealing with my current headache for a week now however.
Not sure what else to try. Haven’t had an MRI but my mom suggests it (I’m an adult but she thinks it would still be a good idea- she had a long history of migraines as well). Nothing has ever shown up on a MRI for her either however.
Anyway, has CBD oil helped for anyone here? I haven’t seen any studies saying it’s been proven effective. But I am looking for more clinically proven than not, before I ask my doc. I’m willing to try anything (it’s not something I’ve tried or use recreationally).
Any other suggestions as to how to get my headaches and migraines under control. Oh, I’ve also tried Phenegren injections in the nerves (nerve blocks) and Reglan, neither have really helped....
