Please help! I am a 22 female and have been in the air force for a year next month, I am security forces (air force cop) and on July 15th I was exposed to OC Spray(pepper spray) for mandatory training and ever since then I have been having issues. I started having headaches but they progressively turned into migraines a week after I got sprayed and the migraines continue to get worse. I have been having throbbing migraines, blurred vision, double vision, seeing white dots from my right eye continually, pressure behind my right eye, sensitive to light and noise, throbbing pain in my jaw down through my neck to my collar bone, and I feel very weak and shaky. The more severe the pain is the more my vision gets blurry. The migraine starts out from the front of my head behind my right eye and expands to the entire right side of my head. There have been times where the pain is so bad that all I can do is curl up in a ball and cry. I have started to have numbness and tingling in my feet, hands, and face but the numbness and tingling has lightened up. I am not myself and I am not able to workout at all, which is very difficult because I am used to very intense workouts at least 4 times a week. Doing any kind of physical activity causes me to lose my breath a few seconds into the exercise and it causes the throbbing pain to increase. It has been so difficult for me to concentrate on anything, I am studying for a couple tests and I cannot retain the information I am studying. The pain is getting worse and it is very difficult to impossible for me to concentrate and work effectively. I was told I had a very bad allergic reaction to the OC Spray. Being a cop and not being able to arm up I feel like a safety hazard to my fellow airman. I have been to my military doctor countless times and to the ER more times then I can count. since July 15th I have been prescribed at least 21 different oral medications, multiple IVs, countless blood test, 3 nasal injections, 4 shots in the head(2 to the front and 2 to the back of my head), put on oxygen, electrode connected to my head for tests on my brain, over 6 pain shots, CT scan, MRI, X-rays, EKG, spinal tap and a blood patch. My neurology team said they do not know what to do next and they are at a stopping point with me because all of my tests have came back normal. I have no idea what to do... None of the methods for pain relief has worked... My leadership and military doctors are treating me like I am faking being in so much pain and its so aggravating. Could it be new daily persistent headache? Hemiplegic migraines? Optical neuralgia? Nerve damage? Whatever it is I need help figuring it out because my neurology team has no clue and I desperately need an answer. :(
