Welcome,
I just wanted to throw in my two cents. I work more than full time- I am the sole provider for myself and my four legged son. I have migraines daily and have to take lots of migraine medications both preventative and abortive/rescue (as well as medications for things other than migraines)
I do not have the option to stay home or even take a day off with the work and financial situation in which I find myself, therefore I have to (excuse the term) "suck it up" and pretend that I am fine and just work through it the best I can, and then at the end of the day I go home and just about die. It eventually catches up with me at times and I wonder how much more I can do.
Now, I don't mean that to say that mine is more or less than yours or vice versa, I just know that I have to do what is necessary to survive physically and financially. If I could stay at home or had another solution I would take it...at times felt disability might even be a possible option.
Bottom line, different strokes for different folks...and no one should feel badly about whatever they have to do to make it in life. (Provided it is legal and not hurting another person of course) We are all struggling with this and need to make things easier on ourselves. We feel so much guilt from others and society, we dont need to guilt ourselves, right?!
