so very tired

I am so so tired.

I have had a migraine since the 5th of March.

My doctor gave me soem new meds and it has helped the pain. i am wondering if I should go in for a shot just to try to end the cycle.

Also they stared me on propranolol and it is making me dizzy & tired.

Has anyone taken propranolol? Does the fatigue & dizziness go away?

Hi Hotgurl,

Sorry to hear you are having such a tough time. I am not sure that going for a shot is always the answer, assuming here that the shot is a narcotic med! A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory would be far better, but make sure you put a lining in your tummy first!

The best thing of all of course would be to get your doctors advice, especially over the propranolol and the dizzyness, it doesn't always suit everyone!

I am on propranolol, the tiredness wears off a little but not much it brings your blood pressure down as well as help your headache so that may be the reason for the dizzy stuff!

I don't do opid shot I do non-steroidal anti-inflammatory turdal I think it is called.

Also sometime a shot of steriods is enough to break the cycle.

I was just wondering about propranolol because sometimes after 2 weeks or so some of the side effects go away.

I suppose I should take my BP. it is normally 110/70 so maybe it is low. I am on 10mg in the am and another 10mg in the pm because I am senstive to meds.

Today is a bad day I just want to cry. I am worn out and I have been going to bed at 9:30 every night and I still can't get up in the am.
