My 22 y/o daughter had been experiencing dibilitating migraines for daily 2 months now. She of course has severe head pain, feeling like she is drugged up, eyes start to droop, she loses the ability to forms words although in her head she knows what to say, she is unable to stand up or walk, her respirations slow down to 10 and her heart rate stays around 114 or higher daily. It appears like a stroke but all medical scans and tests say she is normal. We have tried Topamax which was a bad idea. I renamed this medication stupamax. Headaches lessens a tiny bit but she developed kidney issues and had zero thought process. Now she's on Relpax. FDA approved for only 12 tabs a month! This has been going on each and every day. Where do we go from here? She can't live in the hospital dependant on drugs. I am afriad she will break down mentally. Any further thoughts or advise would be greatly appreicated. BTW: She does have other health issues. RTA type 1, Asthma, Tachycardia, Pituitary growth and seizures. And every one of these requires daily medication.
