  Hi everyone,

 I am hoping someone can tell me what this is. For the past 6 days I keep getting left sided head pain.(whole side) The strange part is, it only lasts 20 seconds to 2 minutes. This happens 15-20 times a day. I also have a mild cramping sensation in the back of my neck. The cramping only happens a few times a day. For 2 different days I had a headache all day, with these my ears, eyes and teeth hurt. Any info would be greatly appreciated. This is driving me nuts.

Welcome to Healing Well. Sorry you are suffering with this. Is these last few days the first time you have ever experienced this sort of pain? Can you describe the pain at all?

Sorry for all the questions but just trying to get a clearer picture of the strength and type of pain you are experiencing! I would say though that I do not have any medical qualifications and cannot diagnose and can only give a personal opinion!

There are a few different types of short lasting headaches that occur many times a day. Do you get any other symptoms at the same time as these headaches? For instance does your left eye go red or does it water at all? If you are at all worried the best person to see is your Doctor.

Thank you for the reply. I have never had pain like this before. It starts at the back of my head where the skull meets the neck, then it shoots right up and around to my forhead. On a pain scale i give it a 6. My eyes don't water. I never looked in the mirror to see if they were red, but i do have dry eyes, so they are always red.
Something i thought of, my husband and i have been doing home improvements. For the past 3 weeks i have been bent over sawhorses sanding wood.(oh, so much fun) My arms, back and shoulder muscles are very tender, plus 5 months ago i damaged my rotator cuff. So, i'am starting to wonder if it is stemming from that.

It sounds as if you could be right about it being connected with your home improvements! It could well be from a previous injury too. The best advice I can give you is to get it checked out with your Doctor.

I don't know why i didn't think of that sooner. I'll give it another week, if it doesn't improve i'll go to the doctor. I just finished sanding today.
I hope everyone has pain free day.
