trying to manage these prolonged auras

SO the never ending cycle of these silent migraines continues. I am trying to get a grip on what each part is . I know think I know when I am in full swing silent but deadly migraine. I pop my little pill .....take a nap and feel much better. But these prodromes that last for days are killing me. Fatigue dizzyness confusion,irritability and water retention and weight gain. I go up about 10-15 lbs......oh yeah just in time for bathing suit weather. Also heart palps and weakness. These symptoms dont go away with my imatrex so acording to what my DR daid this is not the migraine part. But what the heck am I suppose to do. This crap can last a good 3-4 days before I feel the symptom that means I can take a pill( mainly these symptoms exagerated and pain in my left arm and chest) Anyone got any advise. Thanks. ( if this is a little muddle curently I am in day two of confusion so read between the lines lol)

Well from what I have been told is that a silent migraine consists of all the symptoms of a classic migraine sans pain.

I get the prodrome....tired ,irritable, crazy bowels, dizziness,vertigo,confusion water retention and weight gain. For me this last about 3-4 days but has lasted 1 week.Which then carries on to an Aura blind spots ,left side weakness,minor aphasia,hallucinations both visual and auditory, this usally last a few hours for me. Then when everyone else would get a head ache I get dizzy, faint,aphasia, can't write,stutter,left side weakness extreme and pain in my left arm. Heart papls,left side shakes,( looks like I have pakinsons)This lasts an hour o two then I sleep. I get the last stage of exhaustion for about 4 days progressively getting better each day then I am as good as new again! SO I am so thankfull I do not have pain but instead I guess my brain goes haywire.
I know I am in migraine stage when I see cats( a little black one always just off two the side) even floating in the air! lol and I can't talk. I have gotten so mixed up I couldn't tell which was the mens room or the womans....yeah needless to say I walked into the wrong one. i this stage I have also ruined a 30$ roast by putting it in the pantry....only to find it 4 days later ewwwwww Does anyone else have persistent confusion during any of the stages. I feel so lost most of the time

I have persistant stages of confusion. It is difficult but it gets better and it gets worse and it gets better and so on! Especially when you are trying to run a household and teach your kid. I totally understand what you mean. It is frustrating. The other day I was trying to write an e-mail to my sister in law and I sat at the computer for an half an a haur trying to get a word out of my mind. I tryed to type it and could not get it so I figured I try the best I can and use spell check I could not remember how to use spell check I pressed every button on my computer and crashed it. So much for that e-mail! I ended up calling her instead. I am glad my husband understands. I feel so stupid sometimes and I know I'm not! I feel like I am losing my mind.
My silent migraines are not to the extreme as yours are yet. I do see them getting worse as time goes on though. The vertigo and the visual aruras which were minor at first just spots lasting about 5 minutes to now taking over almost all my vision for about 20 to 30 minutes to the confusion lasting for hours. I stutter trying to get my words out. I sit and cry not because I am pain but because I feel like a blunder idiot who can't communicate. The next couple of day I feel like there are weights on me because it takes effort for me just to lift my arms or to move. You are not alone. I am hoping things get better myself. I have found the florence lights are one trigger and I am trying to stay away from them. Have you found any triggers? Are you on any preventive medication?
