I took a friend home from the hospital today who had been told she had a migraine stroke. She can't talk normally and walked today for the first time in about
a week. Apparently seizures she was having cut off the oxygen to her brain and caused the stroke, but what was interesting and scary to me was the fact that before the stroke she had so many of the symptoms that I've been having with my occipital neuralgia! She felt like her head was being blown up like a balloon, she had a constant headache, she couldn't lie down - now I'm wondering if I'm a candidate for a stroke because of this. Anyone know?
