Has anyone gone through this?
I've had occaisional migrains most my life, no big deal, they would go away after a day or two. Over the past ten years I get hit with dizzy spells that have at times dropped me to my knees. Near the end of July I got hit by a severe migrain that has yet to go away.
The doctor first tried T-3's wich had no effect. He then put me on Naproxen, 500mg 3 times a day for three days, then 500mg once a day since. This dulled the migrain, nut did not get rid of it. The doctor then added a Beta Blocker to the mix, 40mg once a day. This only had a tiny effect, the migrain or head ache, if you prefer only dulled a bit more.
I have had two CT Head scans the second with contrasting die, they report them as normal. (They don't know me very well )
The head aches remain, never letting up. If I cough, sneeze or blow my nose I see stars and the head ache gets worse. If I do any physical activity, anything that jiggles my head, the head aches get worse.
Today I was having a good laugh with the neighbour, now my head ache has become a mild migrain again or a severe head ache.
I'm always sensitive to light and noise since this started at the end of July.
Anyway, has anyone been through this? Any ideas?
And yes I'm pulling at straws, just trying to get some idea as to what the heck is going on.
Any info would be appreciated,
Doug
