migraine sufferers,does this happen to you?

In twenty years i've spoken to more than my share of migraine suferers,and to this day never anyone who shares this strange symptom.I am a 32 yr. old male and had my first migraine at age 12.My migrains are sometimes refered to as "classic" migrains or "migrains with aura".Heres the wierd part...lets say I get a migraine today,the aura will start and be mostly in one eye,lets say the left eye.when my vision returns and the pain starts,it will be in my right eye or right side of my head/face.Then the next time I get a migraine,whether it's 2 weeks or two months later it will reverse.Aura in the right eye and pain in the left.This has been the case for twenty years and when I tell my doctors about it they look at me like i'm bannanas.If anyone shares these symtoms or has any info on this I would love to hear from you!

hi im new too and have weird symptoms too have only had an aura twice with my daily migraine which are always on left side but can tell you it was once in the right eye if that helps was like looking through a prism of light at the outer corner of my right eye only happened once though and spent an hour thinking had something in my eye sorry Im not much help but you had no replies and thought Id tell you my experience anyway to see if it was any use

Everyone's auras can be so different.  When I have a really bad one coming on, I smell oatmeal with brown sugar and maple.  So, no, I do not think you are weird.
