pains in my head when i laugh

For the past couple of months i have been experiencing pain in the lower right and left sides of my head, just above my neck. I only feel pain every once in a while when i laugh or cry? Its not tender to the touch, but i do have to admit i have been getting more headaches latley?I am a healthy 21 year old female, should i be concerned??

Is it possible that you have some dental issues? Have you had your wisdom teeth removed yet? You also might be experiencing some sinus stuff. Do you have allergies? It's that time of year where I live. When my sinuses start to act up, I often get pain where you've described - which seems odd, I know. I also remember having pain there before I had the wisdom teeth out. You also might want to have the dentist check to be sure you aren't grinding your teeth at night or jaw clenching. That might cause this kind of pain. I wouldn't be super concerned yet, but if it is bothering you enough to ask about then you should definitely speak with your doc (or dentist) about it.
