I am a 21 year old male and I have always experienced headaches and was diagnosed with Migraines roughly 8 years ago. They come and go about 4 times a week, most are dealt with medication, but some the only cure is to try and take a nap.
Today something very strange happened. I woke up, took a shower and put my contacts in and then got on my computer. I noticed my right eye seemed very dizzy, almost as if I was seeing double vision due to my contact, but it was not (after I had taken it out, put i back in, used brand new contact, etc.). I started getting a slight headache which is very expected due to the blurred vision. I preceded to went to my apartment complex to fill out some paperwork to renew my lease. I had a very hard time putting together sentences and while talking in my mind I am trying to think of common words but unable to find them in my mind so I stop in the middle of sentences. I start filling out the paperwork and I am having the most difficult time with it. Things I should know off the top of my head I am finding very difficult to remember, like my SSN and my girlfriend's phone number. Also, when I start to write something I would plug in the wrong letters or more letters that are needed and I look at it like it does not seem right but I can't figure out the what is wrong with the word.
Ex: I live in a town called Inkster in Michigan. I write "Inkstster" and I spend a good minute trying to figure out what is wrong. I also had to write a "e" one time and ended up just putting a straight vertical line instead. I was in this state of mind for a good hour and have never experienced another episode anything like this.
I decided to take the day off and rest up. I took a nap after my headache had gotten much worse and when I woke up everything was back to normal (except a mild headache which went away within 30 minutes).
I have had concussions before and they were not to this extent although similar symptoms. I also have not hit my head in quite some time.
Any ideas would help!
