Hi folks.... any help that anyone might be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Already been checked out by an optometrist, she couldn't find any physical explanation of the symptoms.
Friday, 9/4 developed a fog in my field of vision in my right eye only. It's not dark, it's like a white haze. Mildly sore if I look all the way up/down/left/right, feels like I was up crying all night. The soreness is at the top of the eye, and to the right. At first I wasn't sure if I was actually seeing it. I am prone to migraines, but I get one a year tops anymore. My usual migraine aura includes colors looking more intense than usual, "magical" almost, but no other aura symptoms. This is the exact opposite. Colors look faded/whitewashed out and it's hard to focus the eye. I expected a migraine on Saturday, but never got one. Sunday, went for an eye exam because it hasn't resolved and is slightly worse. The lady did a very thorough exam but could find no inflammation, rips, tears, detachments, and my eye pressure is normal in both eyes. It's slightly worse again this morning, and still a little sore. Tylenol helps the soreness.
I wear glasses. My prescription jumped somewhat significantly in both eyes. went from -.75 OD -.50 OS to -1.75 OD -1.25 OS. I've been wearing glasses for less than 2 years. I have referral to an ophthalmologist, but if the first exam didn't reveal anything, I'm not sure that another exam is going to give any more clues.
I regularly take no medication, I'm otherwise very healthy. 23, female, not overweight at all, no chronic health conditions.
Thanks.
