Forum Rule 2. No discussion of medical marijuana use.
{-- I appreciate your plight, but must defer to the forum rules on this issue. Thanks, serafena}

I never saw the original post, but as a point of clarification does this rule apply to:
1) Discussing using marijuana for medical reasons
or
2) Discussing whether marijuana should be able to be used for medical reasons
or both?
Thanks,
Ben

If you'd like to bypass this ridiculous censorship of discussion of a treatment legal in nearly 1/3 of the states, you might try googling medical marijuana mdjunction. I'm not allowed to post a website without administrator approval, so you'll have to google it yourself.

I think that's fair. Posting information that could get this wonderful site in trouble isn't cool, but helping people find it themselves is very good. Reminds me of the controversy of counselors at secondary schools referring sexually active kids to planned parenting or when college professors at state schools have been accused of indoctrinating students with a liberal agenda (not neces. my own opinion). The schools can get in trouble for telling kids to do something that many people find immoral, but indicating that there is information to be found should someone be interested in it, then I'm all for that--low liability and informative.
The point is that knowledge is power, so to speak, so long as there is no trace of coercion in the education.
Just my thoughts--and no penny necessary ;)
Ben
