Contious headaches on the left side of my head only with no previous history of headaches

 Hello for about a month now I hav been getting extreme headaches on the left side of my head in the front of my head only. It starts as a dull pain then gets worse and worse until I feel extreme pressure and a stadding pain on the left front of my head only. The pain creeps behind my left eye and creates a kinda buring raw sensation in my left naustrual which compared to the headache itself is just slightly bothersome. Its the pain on the left side of my head that is the problem it can get extremely painful and nothing i do releaves it. When i lay down no matter how i lay it mekes it feel as though there is more pressure in my head and mekes the pain worse. This has been happening every week several times a week for about a month and i hav no previous history of headeches infact i barely use to get headaches. What could be causing this what should i do the pain can be unbearable

Well the pain gets so bad my left eye only waters the pain is so bad that i can not do anything including sleep. I have taken several over counter meds and nothing helps. They headaches tend to hit me mostly at night but do occasionaly happen during day. I ahvn't gone to doc yet i am unempoyeed and hav very asic insurance which allows me to only go to ER which is why I haven't gone to doc . I ld hate to spend 12 hours in ER just to be told hey you got a headache but recently the pain has been so extreme i m near to going to er. If ido end upgoing to ER would it be best to go while the headache is occuring or is whenever good.

How long do these headaches last??? There is a condition called Clusterheadache, which attacks are typically at night, can be several per night and last from 45 minutes to 3 hours. They come on very quickly and go just as fast!!! Does this sound anything like what you go through?
