Continuous Migraine

I have had migraines for 11 years. And starting December 2 it has never gone away. I had a spinal tap done on the 15th, and that was okay. I went back in the 28th and they decided to admit me. My neurologist ordered a MRI and that was okay but decided to do a blood patch which took my pain immediatly from a 10 to a 5. Well now its back again and the pain is back up to a ten. What is going on. Has anyone else experienced this? And what was your outcome. I can't live like this. I lost my job and everything. Please someone help me!

Welcome to Healingwell, so sorry to hear you have been going through this. Sadly sometimes a migraine can kick in at a high level and not go for about a month, although I do realise this has gone on for much longer!

You say the 'blood patch' took the pain down? You will have to excuse me as I am in the UK and do not understand what the 'blood patch' involves?

Is your Neurologist a Headache Specialist? If not, you really need to see a Neuro who is!! Hang in there, take care
