hi mercyme, I truly feel sorry to hear that youve been undergoing such a hard time. These condition are life consuming. I want to share with you my experience with headaches. It started at 17 as bipolar tempoaral throbbing which didn't leave most the time but initially little things like coffee/panadol helped. Quite quickly they got more intense and never left. It was also accompanied with contious severe back/shoulder pain. This headache became more widespread and was like a tight band feeling all over. Life was like a steep uphill challenge. I was dianosed with sveral things throughout the time incld chronic migraine, newly persistant headache, "weak muscles", poor posture etc etc etc and was once told it was genetic and "you have to live with it". I am not saying that in some cases it might be genetic but this is what i was told. A psychologist once told me that most chronic conditions are made worse by the "mind" element. He gave me an example that maybe 30% could be pain due to physical aspect and the 70% is made exhasberated by the mental aspect or even 100% mind. I dug deeper when i found this out and really went searching and discovered how mind unaware i really was. I now do meditation and practice mindful awaress. I continued with these practices and now its been a year of doing it and i felt the improvent gradually.
I just want to add that I am not saying "its all in the head" like some doctors have said to me who couldn't find an answer or a problem, leading me to think im crazy.... Not at all, the pain is real and more than real. The thought of pain is always on the mind of a sufferer and this really doesn't help since this produces a lot of unhelpful emotion which in turn increases the pain. its like a visious cycle.
