I could really use some help. This has been going on for about two months
I wake up after a solid 6-8 hours of good sleep. I feel no pain. After being awake for about an hour I feel the pressure kick in. Like my head is a balloon slowly being filled with air. This is NOT painful at all just strange and annoying. I go on about my day and slowly but surly (4-5 hours later) the pain starts to hit me. It progressively gets worse and worse all afternoon and night. Then about 30 min before I normally fall asleep both the pain and pressure go away simultaneously. I'm then able to sleep peacefully, only to wake up to the same thing. Now, everyday seems to be part of a wave like cycle. One day its not that bad, the next day its a bit worse, then worse, then the worst, then a little better, better, better etc. But even on days of no pain there is always some form of pressure.
The area of discomfort seems to change from minute to minute. If move my head just an inch to the right or left, the feeling could change location. Generally speaking though, the pressure is all around my head especially the back of the head and behind the eyes. The pain is mainly in the front but sometimes its on one side or the back. But like i said it changes every minute. On an intense day the pain is off the charts and I get dry mouth and a bit of dissyness/fatigue. I have NO sensitivity to light/sound and NO nausea(which should rule out this being migraine). Just insane amounts of pain. Here's where it gets strange. Laying down and relaxing tends to make it alot WORSE unless I can actually fall asleep. Running around and getting excersise makes its bearable but not always better.
I've tried just about everything there is to try. Pain Killers : Advil Tylonal Excedrin Immatrex (pills and shots) no luck. I've tried pure Oxygen(nothing), Chinese cupping therapy(helps with the pressure but not pain), and I had an hour session with a healer who performed a unique form of acupressure(I need a few more sessions to decide if its working). I'm 19, do not take any everyday medication, I eat fairly healthy and I'm in good shape. I do smoke cigarettes and quit for 2 weeks to see if the headaches would ease up but no luck. Started again but cut down tremendously. I used to suffer from panic disorder but for the most part I have that undercontrol without the use of meds. Not depressed, not any more stressed then usual.
Please share your advice. It would be great to have my life back
