migraines getting worse

Hi Ashley and welcome to our family here. I am so sorry that you are having so much pain right now. Migraines are the worst! What medications are you on? Is it possible to get into see your doctor to get a different prescription? Or maybe a pain shot to try and break the cycle? When I start getting a migraine that I know is going to be bad, I usually call my doc and go and get a torodol and phenergan (sp?) shot. That will usually stop the migraine so that I don't have to get something stronger like demerol or stadol (which I do have to get at times when the torodol just doesn't do it) I try to catch it early enough because I don't really like adding more narcotics to the mix because I take a pretty high dosage of those everyday. Do you get any relief from any of the triptans? I don't unfortunately. But I have heard that others do get pretty good relief from them. I hope that you can get some relief soon.
