I have had migraines since I was a teenager, and I am now 47. I had a terrible migraine yesterday. My neurologist gave me samples of relpax which I was reluctant to take because I had taken imitrex, zomig, maxalt....and I had a bad reaction to all of them. After taking the relpax my chest got really tight and fealt short of breath, and my neck hurt so bad, that is the last time I'll take relpax. I know it helps a lot of people but the side effects didn't outweigh the benefits for me. Anyway I've had migraines for way too long. Seeing a Neurologist from the University of Va Medical Center this Thursday (Aug 5th). Can't wait to hear what another neurologist has to say about these chronic daily migraines.
Best Wishes,
