Wow you made me remember my first migraine.... it was a rebound. I rebounded off demoral, everything. They ended up knocking me up good with morphine. Was so funny.. I had some brains intact, and knew I shouldnt be home alone so I had my ride take me to my folks house. I got up the stairs and wham-meds full effect right as I walked in the door. Split level house, how do I go down or up the stairs? Heck, down, sit and scoout. Oh but how to stand? Screw that, crawl. Use the couch to stand up tell dad I'm on the couch and I've morphine. I was out in 5 mins, so dead, I slept through the blanket being put on, shoes taken off, pillow put under head and I'm normally a light sleeper. When I finally woke up, I was 5 hours late for my nursing shift in the nursing home. I called in, and told them, had the doctor fax a note, and got forgivven as they knew I was just plain too drugged.
Anyhow, back to what I was going to tell you smooshed. Have they thought of a preventive medication? Topamax works well for me. You should be on a preventive medication daily, then something to treat migraine when appears (ie: Butabital, midrin, frova, immatrex). (hey mods, thats what I take, it isnt off my med experience). So mayble follow up with the docs again.
