hi. i just wanted to know if it were normal to experience diarrhea with migraines? thanks!

Hi,

I haven't heard of it, but it's not completely surprising. You're gut is often called your second brain, because many of the neurotransmitters and receptors found in the brain are also found in gut.

Have you talked to your doctor about it?

Hi Carlybob,

Yes it is quite normal to experience diarrhea before during or after migraine, it is classed as an autonomic symptom as is nausea and vomiting.
