hi guys, i currently take propanalol 10mg daily for prevention of migraine but the doc jus done me a script for naproxen 500mg is this for prevention or to Take when i actually have bad migraine as there are no instructions apart from one with meal! Also Whats your experience does it work? Thanks in advance! X

Hi,

Welcome to Healing Well. Naproxen is a painkiller and if you take too many painkillers you can make the headache worse, so best only take it when you really need it!

Hope this works for you, there are many more things to try, but it would be better for you to give this a go as hopefully it will work for you and it is better for your system not to take too much too soon!!
