Anyone used a micro current tens unit for intractable headaches?

       Just wondering if anyone has used one of these? did it help? where did you get it? cost?

         My headaches are continuous temporal bilateral and severe. It's been eleven years now

          and have tried it all. Need help!

I use a tens unit but I have chronic daily headache and Migraines. Due to these I always have a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders and so I place the pads on muscle area, and I use it for 15 min with ice. When I was going to the chiropractor they were using them and I asked about it, the told me I could buy it online. I bought mine at amazon.com for $36.00 plus I bought extra pads. because those will wear out after a while. It just helps relieve some of the built up mulsle tension from chronic pain. Going for a massage would be even better, but since I can't afford that, this does help.

Hi! I Use a tens unit for daily migraines it mostly distracts me from some of the pain but that is a good thing. Its better than nothing. I also have some issues with headaches generate by muscle tension in my neck & shoulders so that is where I place the electrodes.

I got the script from my chiropractor also & paid $200 out of pocket plus extra $50 for pads for electrodes. Good Luck!!

I was looking for a tens that i could place on my temples as that is where my continous severe headaches are.

I was wondering if those microcurrant ones can be used like that? I'm still researching.

I do have a regular tens so i will try it again on the neck and shoulder areas and see what that does.
