Has anyone tried this for headaches or migraines?

If so, did it help at all? And what side effects did you experience?

My neurologist said I should take Depakote. But its side effects are very similar to Topamax, which I really didn't enjoy taking.

My psychiatrist gave me a whole litany of options, one of them being Neurontin. It is an anticonvulsant but an atypical one. It seems to have a better reputation in terms of side effects, but apparently isn't used very often for migraines.

Would like some ideas...

Neurontin helped me as much any other med, but only for a few months. Minimal side effects (esp compared to depakote and dopamax), but I think I gained some weight. I found depakote even worse than Topomax in terms of memory-related side effects.

Note: I do not have classic migraines, but New Daily Persistent Headache, but I would think Neurontin is worth a try.

I don't have migraines either. I have a 24/7 sensation of "pressure in my head." It's not often painful, but it is extremely annoying and ruins concentration.

It's not bad enough that I'll take any drug suggested to me, but not mild enough to be ignored, as it is causing endless disturbance.

What exactly is "head pressure" without pain, without aura? If it is NDPH, then "what is" NDPH?
