Lumbar Puncture to check fluid for Migraines

Help! I got a Lumbar Puncture on friday (sept 2) and I have been in bed ever since with horrible pressure and pain!!!! I am currently on hold with Kaiser for the nurse on call.... but is this normal to have so much pain after 48 hours? I ca't sit or stand for very long... let alone pee or eat without pressure.

Same thing happened to me last year. They had to do a blood patch (take your blood, inject it where they did the lumbar puncture)...it sounds like spinal fluid leaking. After they fixed that (another 48 hours on your back) the spinal headache went away and the lovely daily migraine returned....good luck, let us know how you're doing.
