HEAD PAIN LEFT SIDE OF HEAD UNDER EAR

HI ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT :)

I HAVE PAIN IN THE LOWER BACK SIDE OF LEFT SIDE OF HEAD,,4 DAYS NOW,,,I WENT TO THE ER ,, THEY GAVE ME MUSLE RELAXERS AND PAIN KILLERS THINKING IT WAS A LUMBAR PROBLEM. THE PAIN RADIATES TO MY SHOULDER AND NECK SOMETIMES. I HAVE A TEMP OF 99.6. THEY SAY THATS FINE. THE MUSLES RELAXERS MAKE MY HEAD FEEL PAIN-FREE. DOES THAT MEAN I HAVE A HERNIATED DISK? ALSO MY NUERLOGICAL EXAM Was PERFECT SO THEY SAID NO NEED FOR A XRAY OR CT SCAN.

ANY SUGGESTION WOULD BE HELPFUL :)

I don't know what kind of exam they gave you but checking your reflexes etc etc and eye movements and having them all be ok does not rule out possible problems with your mastoid (behind your ear) or anything else that could show up on an MRI. You should see your own neurologist. There are many things along your neck and head that can cause pain like that besides a disc The temp should have given them a clue that it could be bacterial. If your temp goes up another degree or more you should get yourself back there. I wouldn't want to scare you with all the possible things a fever and that pain could be. You might also need to see an orthopedic dr
