Hey hey all..
I'm 23 years old, and have been dealing with migraines since I was in grade 4 (that's my earliest memory of it). Mine are mostly aura migraines, with pain that occasionally follows. It's weird - they're inconsistent. Sometimes I get them weekly (as I am right now), and sometimes it's months before one hits. And sometimes both the aura and pain are intense enough to affect me for a couple days - other times, like yesterday, both are very mild and pass quickly.
Another weird quirk - sometimes I get migraines in my sleep! This is very rare, but I have dreams that are affected by my aura, and I wake up with the residual feeling that my head has been in a vise all night. Does this ever happen to anyone?
I will confess that coffee is a regular part of my lifestyle. I also know that I NEED to exercise (I'm about 20lbs overweight) but can't seem to find the motivation. What kind of steps can I take to get these weird infrequent migraines to go away? I work in an office, and it can be very debilitating to not be able to see the monitor!
Thanks friends :)
