Hello:
I am new to this Forum. I just can't stand these night time migraines. I have suffered migraines since I was 13 years old. Most recently they have been occurring in the late afternoon/during the night. The night time migraines tend to wake me up around 3:30-4:00 AM, and they are terrible. I do not have sleep apnea. I am a female, 44 years old. Interestingly, I was migraine free for nearly 15 years. They started up again when I was 40. At first I thought they may be hormone related, but now they are just all over the place.
Right now it's about
10:30 PM, and I have had a migraine since 4:30 PM or so. I take 4 excedrine migraine tablets which can take the edge off, but the draw back is that now I will be awake for who knows how long from the caffeine. I am a type II diabetic, and sugars are mostly controlled. I was diagnosed type II diabetes in 2003 after taking low dose seroquel for a year for depression. Unfortunately, my husband is not sympathetic to migraines, so I cannot have on a fan or
open window for cool air. It is quite frustrating....
